Clew Bay offers all-weather
fishing amongst its 365 drumlin islands. Options include reef fishing off Clare Island & Achill Island for Mackeral, Pollack, Whiting, Coalfish, Haddock, Puting, Red, Cod, Turbot, Conger, John Dory and many more species. Go sharking fishing in August and September off Achill & Clare Islands.
Organised fishing charters are available and suitable equipment may be hired. Bring back your haul and enjoy it in the Nephin Restaurant or Waterfront bar!
Fishing Rod Hire
We have a limited number of fishing rods for hire from the activity centre. Hire is only available to people 16 plus or kids with an accompanying adult.
