Achill to Mulranny 13km section. Trail section information as follows
Start/Trailhead : In Mallaranny an official access point is located to the right just off the N59 travelling to Bangor. An access point is also located to the rear of the Mulranny Park Hotel. On Achill Sound an official access point is located at Óstán Oileán Acla / Achill Island Hotel at the gateway to Achill Island, Follow finger post signage onto Greenway. The distance is 13 km and is a fully off road cycle & walking trail. The estimated time cycling is 1 to 1.5 hours.
Mulranny to Newport 18km section. Trail section information as follows
Start/Trailhead : In Newport an official access point is located to the left just off the N59 travelling to Mallaranny. In Mallaranny an official access point is located to the right just off the N59 travelling to Bangor. The distance is 18 km and is also fully off road. The estimated time cycling is 2 to 2.5 Hours.
Alternatively, you can cycle around the stunning island of Achill.
