You will touch the stones of history with tales and folklore from the greenway, walk on the ancient paths of pilgrims, or experience true tranquility by hiking the most remote hills.

After sunset you can enjoy an evening of Gastronomy & Astronomy featuring award winning food from some of the Gourmet Greenway’s producers.  You will then be whisked away on board the “Starlight Express” with Dark Sky Rangers Georgia and Ged and Seanchaí Dan, who will fill your imagination with stories, myths and legends. As the originators of the Mayo dark sky project they will bring the constellations alive with a laser pointer tour of the starry skies over Mayo’s Gold Tier International Dark Sky Park.
