Mulranny’s 9-hole links course overlooks views of Clew Bay, with Croagh Patrick across the bay, and the Partry Hills, Sheffer Hills and the Mulrea Mountains all on the southside. Westport Golf Club is a 30 minute drive from Mulranny Park Hotel, but it is worth a visit. Located on the shores of Clew Bay, each hole offers a new challenge under the watchful eye of Croagh Patrick. What makes this course special is its iconic scenery with Everest like fairways paired with views of the Atlantic Ocean and more.

Ballinrobe Golf Club is further out, with an hour-long drive to reach the course, but it is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Ireland. World-renowned golfer Padraig Harrington recently described Ballinrobe Golf Course as “the finest championship golf course in the West of Ireland.” This course will most certainly be a hit for any golf fan.

Carne Golf Links are a 30 minute drive from Mulranny and contains a gorgeous 27 hole course. Enjoy magnificent unspoiled sand dunes overlooking Blacksod Bay and the wild Atlantic Ocean near the town of Belmullet. Castlebar Golf Club is a 30 minute drive from our hotel and it is often described as “The Augusta of Connaught”. Located at Rocklands in Castlebar, this 18 hole parkland course will leave memories that will last a lifetime.
